Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the website operated by BulletZo.com. It covers digital subscriptions to our entertainment magazine, access to premium celebrity culture articles and South African entertainment content, one-time purchases of digital issues, and any related online services. The policy governs transactions for consumers located in South Africa and explains the terms under which payments are processed and refunds may be issued. It does not apply to physical goods or offline events.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges

All prices displayed on the site are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include value-added tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate. Additional charges may apply for premium features, extended subscription periods, or promotional upgrades. BulletZo.com reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, but changes will not affect existing subscriptions until renewal. Customers are responsible for any bank fees or currency conversion costs if paying from outside South Africa.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, EFT transfers, and selected digital wallets compliant with South African banking standards. Payments are authorised at the time of order placement. All transactions are secured through encrypted gateways that comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act and industry standards. BulletZo.com does not store full card details.

Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

A contract is formed when you receive an email confirmation after submitting your payment details. This confirmation outlines the subscription start date, access credentials, and applicable terms. Until confirmation is issued, no binding agreement exists, and any pre-authorised amounts may be released.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under the Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to cancel a subscription within five business days of confirmation for a full refund, provided no digital content has been accessed. After this period, cancellations are permitted at renewal only, with no pro-rata refunds for the current term.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available for unused portions of subscriptions if cancellation occurs within the cooling-off period or due to technical faults on our side. Digital content already downloaded or streamed, promotional gifts, and partially used subscription months are non-refundable. Subscriptions purchased during sales events may carry additional restrictions.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@bulletzo.com with your order number, full name, and reason for the request. Include proof of purchase and any relevant screenshots. Requests must be submitted within the applicable timeframes outlined above.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision

Our team will review each request within ten business days. You will be notified by email of approval or rejection, including reasons if denied. Approved refunds proceed to processing, while rejected cases may be appealed once with additional supporting information.

Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to fifteen business days, after which funds appear in your account within an additional three to seven days depending on your bank. BulletZo.com is not responsible for delays caused by third-party processors.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant

Digital magazine access and celebrity content streams are considered services delivered immediately upon confirmation. Promotional offers such as discounted first months are subject to the same cancellation rules but may exclude refunds on the promotional portion. Subscription auto-renewal can be disabled via your account settings at any time.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments will result in temporary suspension of access until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically where verified. Chargebacks or suspected fraudulent activity may lead to account termination and reporting to relevant South African authorities. Customers must contact us first before initiating chargebacks.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. These include the right to fair value, honest dealing, and redress through the National Consumer Commission or courts in South Africa. Disputes may also be referred to the applicable ombudsman.
